| Wigan lose 4 out of 5? More chance of Lee Briers playing for England, winning Man of Steel and Sports Personality of the year.

| Quote Finfin="Finfin"If Warrington snatch 1st place narrowly on points difference it will be because they were gifted with an easy match in Edinburgh against Salford (68-16); they were given a tie against one of the poorer teams as they were one of the bottom clubs themselves last season.'"
The only problem with that claim is that the team you beat at Murrayfield lost to us the following week 60-4 (a better points difference than our match vs Salford).

But that wasnt your extra match so it is irrelevant.

| Course it is. He/She was claiming we had an advantage as we played an "easier" team. If we'd played Hudds and you'd played Salford, the results could easily have been the same.

It is irrelevant because it wasnt your extra match.
Any RL fan would prefer to play Salford than Huddersfield if given the choice because they are an easier team to play, just look at the league table from this season or last. Indeed last season Huddersfield where Challenge Cup finalists. When was the last time Salford got to a final or finish in the play offs? You also seem to ignore the fact that you only beat Huddersfield 18 - 10 at the Galpharm, which is far closer than any of your matches against Salford. You also seem to ignore the fact that we beat Salford 60 - 10 a couple of weeks ago.

| The top two currently are more than likely going to finish the top two. In what order I have no idea! Both sides will be confident of going through the remainder of their season unbeaten, and I do now believe that the likelihood is of a Wire v Wigan Grand Final which if it compares in quality and intensity to the two fixtures we've played so far this season I would be quite happy regardless of result (although obviously prefer a Wire win!).
If you had said to fans of both clubs we'd be in the top two with 5 rounds left we'd have bit your hands off...

The whole thing is irrelevant as the fixture list is the fixture list. You lost to Quins who were awful at the time. You just beat who is front of you and enjoy your rugby.

But then again you are ignoring the fact that we put 58 on Quins at home whereas, oh yes, you lost at home against them...
At the end of the day "easy teams" or otherwise you've won one more game than we have, we both have a chance of finishing top of the table and that is only good for the game.

What the hell has Quins got to do with anything? That was part of the regular home and away format which ensures fairness and consistency accross the board.
We are talking about a much easier extra game that Warrington were given that boosted Warringtons points difference by 40+ points over Wigans. It is hardly the same and further shows what a farce the Magic weekend concept is. You should take the blinkers off if you cant see how farcical it is.
