Mate the reserve grade down here is far better than in the UK, you cant expect a young lad who cant get in the Wigan team to get alot of playing time in the NRL. The idea would be to train with first team and learn. They would get their chance when ready. They would develop further than they would in the reserves at Wigan. |

Oh right, i misunderstood what you meant. If they play well enough they would get the opportunity, not many thought Tansey would see much playing time, but he's had a heck of alot. Saying that, how hard can it be to make the Roosters team this year? |

The comparison with Aussie reserve grade is telling.
Arguably the form scrum half in SL is Dobson and wasn't first grade in Australia.

And where did i say he would learn more under Brown than Noble. He would not get a regular first team spot at Wigan as we have an abundance of SR players. Where at Huddersfield he will get a regular first team place which can only be good for him and help him develop as a player as the reserves are good for young players until they get to a certain level then they need to be in a better competition. Like Moore from Saints this year he would not get in the first team at saints but plays for you every week. |

While i do not think that was insinuated in the original post i agree that Brown will be a better coach for Mossop than Noble. |
