1. Wigan must not win a hard fought struggle in appalling conditions, nilling the opposition and scoring 16 points, because that makes for the worst CC Final of all time.

2. Wigan must not get to the final by nilling the opposition and scoring 70 points with a display of attacking rugby because that makes for the worst CC Semi Final of all time.

3. Wigan players must not consider winning the game but devote all their efforts to entertaining neutral fans. Just like all the other teams do...

4. Wigan fans must not mention winning the CC Final, as that is arrogant.

5. Wigan fans must not mention winning the Challenge Cup 19 times, or indeed any other Trophies, as that is very arrogant indeed.

6. Wigan fans must not attend actual games. It is now compulsory to stay at home, watch on TV and moan about how low attendances at games are.



If we stick to these rules we can join with the miserable so and so's who obviously get their pleasure from begrudging other teams hard won successes.



Or perhaps we could just ignore the moaners and try to carry on achieving. People won't like it though....

The moaners love us winning really. Otherwise they'd have nothing to moan about.

Don't forget the sub clauses to 4 and 5 regards mentioning anything pre 1996. We must also leave early when losing and not mention it when any other club does.

Rule 7, section 3a..........If Wigan win anything, accuse them of cheating, if they haven't actually cheated then charge them with a made up rule, e.g. 'breaking the spirit of the said rule', this rule only applies to Wigan.

Article 67, item 3, sub section 1a....If Wigan score a try it must be reviewed for anything that may give it cause to be dissallowed.



Sub section 1b, the review must show 15 varying angles that prove to be inconclusive.



Sub section 1c, upon dissallowing the Wigan try, immediately show a 16th angle that conclusively prooves that the try should have stood.

Another important one -



Wigan fans must not expect the Sky Sports commentators to not question everything the Cherry and Whites do on the field, to not look for 'a Wigan hand in there' whenever the opposition knock on, to not query whether or not every scoring pass Wigan make is forward, or touchdown short, in touch or a double-movement (and very importantly, to never retract such suspicions when later Twitter evidence clearly indicates the opposite), to not point out that Wigan 'got away with it' whenever the man in the middle disagrees that Wigan have just committed an offence, and perhaps most vitally of all, to never give Wigan credit for turning out so many home-grown youngsters, despite the frequent occasions they made an issue of Wigan's foreign contingent back in the bad old days - as for Wigan fans to expect any of this would be completely unreasonable (not to mention futile).
