However I would state that running a pro RL club in the modern days costs more money than even the most die hard RL fans in a poor town can afford. Pi$$ing in the wind springs to mind. The best result would be to try and see the season out, declare insolvency and take the 9 point hit next year.



If you do manage to save the club then your group should ask for shares in the club, even as a token gesture if you dont already have them.



On a negative I remember a thread on here in the winter mocking Crusaders' financial turmoil, people contributing to that thread look preeeetty damn daft now. Things can go wrong at any time and for any reason.

Yes you are quite correct , take away the SKY money that we dont get any of , and we're all foooked

One would hope that will change for Chp clubs over the next TV contract.

For SKY , yes , for the clubs no , it probably costs Leigh around £ 10,000 when being on SKY

Although if we had more control over the ground advertising then maybe it could become a success over time?
