Cannot believe some of the comments on here - we have just scraped a win and now everybody is looking up instead of down.

If we lose on Saturday I believe we could be in the bottom 2 by Sunday, and we have no guarantee of success in any of the remaining games - Donny aside.

A tough few weeks ahead me thinks - and back to doom and gloom on here come Monday.

Don't forget that we beat the inform side in the division on Sunday. The one that nearly put 50 points on Fax and on their day, can stuff anyone in the division.



Either way, its an improvement and should give the team the encouragement they need.

Although we grafted on Sunday, which I admit we haven't seen much of throughout the season, we only really did a job for the first half and the second half nearly turned into a complete disaster as we let a game slip that we shouldn't of.



At Barrow, I think we can give them a game if we can play for the full 80 minutes, they're in no great shapes at the moment and with a confidence boost on Sunday with the win, I'd expect at least a bonus point.

Dont know if it will make any difference but Brett McDermott wont be playing plus Andy Bracek has been charged with a grade c high tackle, case heard this week.

Plus Steve Deakin has been apponted caretaker coach til the end of the season with Dave Clark his assistant.

Sounds like a money man at the top who is expecting too much too soon. ATEOTD it's his money, but it don't guarentee success. Reckon it will only cause unrest, and may well benefit us on Saturday.



Still reckon we could get a snotting though

In practically every game this season our team has switched off for a few minutes during the game and second half on Sunday was par for the course and a classic example.



The way we played first half on Sunday and came back when Sheffield drew level gives me some optimism we will not finish in the bottom two.



80 minute rugby however is the order of the day for every player in every match we have left to play.



Re Saturday if Higson is fit should we play him ?

I wouldn't risk him until he is 100% fit. We need to be targetting our home games as winnable and give him his comeback in one of those.

Why change a winning side anyway?
