We can but dream

Can't believe comments of Gary Charlton on Radio Cumbria after the game, complaining about referee!! Listening to him you would have thought every Leigh pass was forward, the disallowed try was good, I can't comment as too far away but ref and TJ were in perfect position. No comment about the fact that penalty count was 9-0 to them at one point. Both he and the commentator kept saying we are full-time.

Even the report ion one of the rugby papers says we are a full time team. It seems the laughably amusing Radio Cumbrian bias has spread to the coach too, although he does have a point on some of our passes from dummy half which were just the wrong side of being a flat pass. But to have a penalty count so much in your favour and only score 2 tries to 8 should tell him he has a few problems.

I think it is a huge compliment to our lads saying they look full time. Just goes to show it is not only us Leythers who know we have a great' well coached and superbly fit side.

I'm sure i read that the club finishing top gets home advantage

You'd like to think so, as it might convince some teams to be more competitive. However, the 'rules' clearly state an open draw. Mind you, when have the RFL ever let set rules get in the way?
