I'll be honest, when we appointed Rowley I thought the worst,



but this year has been so far ahead of what most of us expected after last winters turmoil it's untrue.



Last night we got battered up front, which happens when you're best front rowers are injured, not just your best front rowers but the best front row in the league. That's why their half backs had so much space to get the ball out to the flanks. Did The Watcher and Mookachaka not see that Duffy was playing prop?



I agree Rowley got the team selection wrong, with only 17 fit players why didn't he get his boots out?



As for a 'proper' coach, did a 'proper' coach not get stuffed last year and 2010 by Sheffield far more convincingly, with a full team?



If anyone asks someone in the know about Gardner (who we were all raving about for 2/3rds of the season) he got injured in the game against Halifax-the cup one, and has been playing with that injury all year.



And Nicco and McGilvary were our only fit players Mookachaka, what would you have done?



I agree with leytherjay, strength in depth cost us, which is what happens with no planning for the season, which isn't anyones fault.



Our squad for next year looks amazing, I don't think anyone can touch us if we sign a couple more players.

There are indications on the Barrow Forum that Andy Ballard is joining Leigh next season.

Poor referee decisions cost us dearly leading to at least 3 Seagull tries and cost us at least 2 of our own as well , but other general ref blunders cost us stacks of possession in dangerous areas .

I'm not a ref basher at all, but the knock on in the last minute was a big blow, as for the touch judges-one of them should have seen McNally get chinned off their best player too.

That leaves a more convincing bench, 2 props in Thornley and Gallagher, a 9 interchange in Nicholson his only decent position for me, and Brierley to be backrow interchange, with Duffy going 13 like Leeds used to do (McGuire, Burrow and Sinfeild)

God I hope so.....this lad (like Bracek) as been a stand out player in that side and would be 1st choice winger for me.
