A Leigh-Wigan Challenge Cup tie would have seen 7-8000 at Leigh thats for sure and prob 12-14000 at JJB Stadium I reckon.

Lee was offered on a plate to Leigh. All Neil Kelly had to do was make a phone call to Wigan and Lee would have been playing for Leigh instead of Barrow.



Wigan have around 8 young players available to be loaned out. Maybe more. The proximity of Leigh to Wigan means that the Wigan youngsters always want to go to Leigh over other clubs because it enables them to more readily/easily combine training with their Loan club and Wigan. Even Lee resides in Wigan. Decent facilities also help.

Basically what Alan was saying is that Leigh have played Widnes away at Easter in 2007, 2008 and now 2009. When will we get a home Easter fixture against them?
