i'll bet it was painful posting out of the SLE box,was it your first time?.

Actually looking back at a lot of the posts in retrospect of the allegation, they seem to be slyly suggesting the same thing. one suggests he can find "the line", the next suggests he'll leave a 'crack' in the squad, the next says he has a tendency to get 'caught in posession' and another was surprised SL clubs werent "sniffing" around him. There were a few others too.



But there is always rumours around players, i doubt its true and we will judge him on his ability on the field at Leigh. Lets face it if you had to play for saints you would need something to take your mind off it

Saints have never had problems with off field issues with their players in the past so this alledged problem obviously stands out.

I think you are reading too much into the posts Nozzy. Do you think the RFL would not have tested him if there were rumours like that going around his club. No one knows how long that rubbish stays in your body untill it is undetectable but I have heard you can tell from a corpse that they had had the stuff by a test from the base of the spine. Hair folicles hold the stuff also and I am told upto two months after you have had some it can be detected in them. So I will take the posts with a pinch of salt.

Ste Bannister was the last player we had an issue with. He was given a few chances to go off and prove he could behave, and couldn't. Since, Saints have been zero tolerance with their juniors.

I feel I should add that in terms of talent, Ellis is up there, and it is sad to see him go rather than get to prove himself at Saints.

I asked Ian at the meeting last night who would play 13 this year and he said that most probably Jimmy Taylor.

Dean McGilvary is also an ex Saints Junior also.

Must be for his flair and quick hands - at least we know what type of rugby to expect next season
