Well although it has nothing to do with RL I shall respond.



Should we be daft enough to go to proportional representation we would soon have a parliament with BNP members. Soon after that we would have a Muslim party. It is bad enough that we have people in Wales and Scotland voting for parties because they are Welsh or Scottish. For too long we have had to put up with people in Northern Ireland voting for a particular party because of the religious background they happen to have been born into.



Largest party need to govern and if that is the Tories I will have to put up with it.



In the long run it is the best we can expect. I do not want a democratic government run at the behest of parties who are motivated by the colour of people's skin' where they happen to have been born' or whichever Supreme being that they happen to be daft enough to believe in.



A coalition of the major parties in the current circumstances is the best way out of this mess and if that means a Conservative PM so be it.

I believe he did offer help to East but they were told by the Council to tell him to butt out.

milliband david or ed will be next labour leader, as for burnham, if you like or dislike him, he won a thumping majority last thursday. as for next pm, well i dislike cameron, and that oiley little oike hague makes me want to be sick everytime i have seen him on tv today, we live in politically interesting times that's for sure. more importantly i hope we smack the widnes lot on thursday, after that the politicians can fight oit out amongst themselves. would say one thing, if i had voted lib dem, which i did not i would be most upset at themgetting into bed with the tories, if cameron does get in my consience is clear.

Hey mish, i also seem to remember you once said that Eastmond would not be Saints starting scrum half....

Its probably too early for Andy, though he has and does hold some high profile positions. Though I certainly wouldn't rule him out.

Odds on Andy are 14/1. IMO he is still too experienced, but in a few years time I think he will be a major contender for the party leadership.



As a Tory Party member (not something you should admit in Leigh I know!) I am hoping for a Tory minority Government, I don' twant to work alongside The Fib Dems...
