Am i right in saying that Leigh did display interest in this young man, but however they could not match the payment Widnes where offering?
If this is the case then it all boils down to loyalty, if it's your dream to play for Leigh and you are offered terms, regardless of payment, then take it.
Once again the allure of the pay packet i would say. |

| i have no idea if this kid is any good, so can't comment, but as has been said his dream to play for his beloved leigh, well do me a favour, i'd have more respect if he said i'll sign for whoever is prepared to pay me the most cash, end of, good luck at widnes.  |

if he wanted too play for leigh, he would have, obviously meant, wanted to play for Leigh for the right money!
Ian Mort is a prime example of wanting to play for Leigh!

I go back to my last point, no one knows what Leigh offered. It might have been paltry sum. Loyalty doesn't come in to it when you have a mortgage to pay and/or mouths to feed! I think you're all being a bit harsh on the lad without knowing the facts. |
