Recently dropped my laptop, accidentally and the screens mashed. So would I be better going for a new laptop or try the I-pad 2?
Your views would be appreciated.

| It all depends on what you want to do, I bought an iPad 2 and absolutely love it, but it does not have flash player,runs on safari and no usb ports so it can be a bit limiting. If you need to use for producing reports or loads of typing then a laptop would be better than using the iPad keyboard.
I very rarely use our laptop now because I am normally just browsing the net, when I do any college work I use the laptop, but i much prefer the ipad
Infact I a typing this on it know.

There's plenty of online poker apps for the iPad, with Zynga Poker being one of the best - it's the same one as on Facebook, lets you play against people from Facebook too. You may want to investigate your options.
I'd say that unless you do a lot of typing, then the iPad would be a great fit. The apps / games you can get in the app store (inc. plenty of free ones) will more than make up for the loss of flash.
I have an iPad and it feels far more relaxing to use for leisure purposes, general browsing, etc. than a laptop or PC does, and the touch input is very natural to use. |

I predominantly use Sky Poker and William Hills both of which need flash player.
I might just contact sky poker and see if they support the i pad. |
