Sounds like his dream move turned sour if he is off to oldham. Whats that about karma and all that.

IIRC that was his brother, Joe Mellor, that went to Wigan.

Iirc as peckerwood states it was Joe who went to Wigan ... but whats annoying about your post it why is it automatically a stab in the back for Wire ?? in fact i think it might of been wire who instigated the move joe made to Wigan, because we wanted Leatherbarrow..

I have real difficulty buying that a youth of 15 or 16 years of age (when he left Wire for Wigan) stabbed anyone in the back, maybe it was mutual or poor advice that lead him there.



He returned and played for the academy (which also leads me to believe that no back stabbing was done) and now at 20-21 years of age he has decided it may not happen for him here so he has moved on again chasing his dream.



One final thought, have you never left a place of employment for somewhere that can offer you what you want, if that is money or job satisfaction.....I have!

I seem to remember that his departure caused a bit of agro down at the hj at the time it happened. In fact a few people had a pop about the situation on this very forum.

Cause agro at the club NO. Joe wanted something that the club would not offer (like every player who has left the club etc), as it didnt suit the club, or what the club offered suit him, so he found it elsewhere.

Interesting that Natters remembers somebody posting this I thought "she" had only recently stumbled across this message-board. Mind you her posts on this thread remind me of an idiot who posted similar derogatory comments about two different people who were given leave due to close members of family were seriously ill.



I'm glad this message board isn't polluted by such idiots anymore unfortunatley we have Natters to put up with.
