There is a lot of work being done behind the scenes at the club and this year may see an overall drop in gates, but with the foundations being laid for growth over the following 2 seasons with the magic 5,000 average being hit by the next time licenses are awarded.
The wigan gate last year, whilst nice, had more to do with a massive away following and a fair few kids being "invited". The gates this year will be bolted on TRUE and therefore give the club an idea of the massive job ahead.

Where did you hear that? I've just been to the HJ for my tickets and when I asked if they were selling well the answer was no, they only went on sale yesterday and have only sold a few today. |
