Apparently we're the scum of RL

A few were initially, to their credit, were taking the side of common sense and common human decency but, alas, then the usual shifting of the blame and covering for the thickest scum in society came to the top.



A few of their fans remind me of the drummer boys who come on here and defend throwing a smoke bomb and a flare at a family game.

Come on, lads. Let's not be too hasty. In 3 weeks time, we'll be at Wembley, for RL's showpiece.

We'll be taking 30,000 (ooohhh, where did they all come from), and whilst the HUGE majority will behave impecably, I dare say, there'll be more than a few knuckle scrapers, itching to fight (with Leeds fans/coppers/themselves), get themselves arrested, or generally make a cock of themselves.



Let's not take the moral highground, because of one Wigan simpleton.

It isn't the one Wigan simpleton I'm focussing on. It's the rest of the simpletons that instantly dismissed it, defended the guy, played dumb, admitted to refusing to shop a racist and have, most egregiously, shifted the blame to the one having racist abuse directed towards him; saying things suggesting that there shouldn't have been a reaction as even racism isn;t that bad.

Shoe on the other foot, jdr. If the same thing happened at the HJ, there will be same reaction from some of our "fans" that it never happened/was taken out of context/didn't hear it, etc.



Unfortunately, in our society (regardless of geographical co-ordinates of where we were born), there will always be nob-ends

Number of possible options:-

1....it didnt happen.

2....it did happen, nobody told Wigan officials the nature of the "abuse", how can they deal with it.

3....it did happen, Sam Moa told somebody at Wigan, Wigan did nothing, RFL get told, Wigan in HUGE trouble (remember the fine for Wakefield IIRC for doing nothing over Gareth Thomas)

4....it did happen, Wigan did what they could but could identify the person...not a lot else can happen

5...it did happen, it was reported, Wigan do identify the person. That person can expect a VERY lengthy ban from all "football" (rugby and FA) grounds and the possibility of a criminal record.



BUT.....NOTHING will come out into the public domain until any necessary invetsigations/actions are completed.

Ultimately, I think it was the usual suspects who were towing the usual Wigan Ultras line.

There we have it. It was all Sam Moa's fault. Racism is ok.

If there was a racial offence then I'm sure the club will deal with it accordingly. Maybe Harrison Hansen, Eric Luaki, Jeff Lima, George Carmont and Anthony Gelling could explain to the person in question why he's banned from the DW.
