| IMO Smith is doing Myler a disservice if he picks him against Aus or NZ in an international. He hasn't yet played a big game in his life.
I think it's 12 months too early to even consider him for a starting spot.

| Quote hula89="hula89"They are on the pitch to create play break the line and create moves. The assist is only the player that plays the pass or kick before the try so if, for example, tomkins kicked to the corner carmont knocks it back to Richards and he scored then Carmont gets the assist.
These are not the correct statistics to compare two Halves. But the fact that you omitted all the other stats shows me that deep down you already know this.
Also remember that Man of Steel and Young Player of the Year are picked by other players and they picked Tomkins for YPOTY. This shows that not only do many fans believe that tomkins is a better player so do the other players. The dream team shows that the RFL think Tomkins is better too.
Plus before you think that this is simply Wigan fan bias;
I would also play Eastmond over Myler as he has also been a better player, in my opinion, than Myler. He has also played more and therefore has more match practice this season. I expect you'll come up with more rubbish figures to show why Eastmond isn't better than Myler but seriously any level headed Warrington fan will agree that Myler has been picked because Smith is coach of both teams. Just like how he picked lots of Leeds players last year...'"
talking about leaving out facts, Myler was on fire and rightfully being talked about way more than Tomkins (except for on your board) then all the transfer saga started and Myler was prevented from playing first team rugby by Salford. if he'd played for the full season maybe Sam might not of been YPOTY, Richie could of been in the Dream Team, so on and so on.

If you're going to use the if, only, could have been, maybe argument, wouldn't Ainscough be in the team in place of Tom Briscoe?
After all, well respected Superleague coach coach (John Kear) reckoned he should be included in the England squad mid season.

| Perhaps Tomkins has been left out because of his mental maturity. I reckon the guy has class, but he does seem to lose his cool extremely quickly when things aren't going his way and appear a bit childish. He could be thinking the Aussies and NZ would easily wind him up

| Does'nt really matter who plays halfback, the Aussies are far too superior in all departments.
18+ victory for the Aussies.

You are the one who said half-backs play left and right. Are you so thick that you can't remember the crap you wrote 5 minutes previous.

i'm not trying to use that as a reason for Mylers inclusion, i for one wouldn't of had any arguments if Tomkins was in instead of Myler.
i was just pointing out that because Sam was in the dream team and named YPOTY doesn't mean people view him as the better player. there was circumstance that basically took Richie out of the equation.
O/T but, It's like this Ratchford is better than Myler bandwagon that is gathering pace, now don't get me wrong, i have never seen the guy play and he could well be but surely, if he was a better player, he would have been keeping Myler out of the Salford team before he was dropped for chasing the pound (and guaranteed England spot apparently)

Without being disrespectful, I think that puts a lot of your posts into perspective.

TBH next week will take care of itself, and we can discuss it after tonight and tomorrows games.
This is what I posted on the Wigan site
"Am I the only one who has a concern about tonights result?
That French pack is huge, the majority from Catalan, so are used to playing together.
I find it very strange that Smith has only named one prop on the bench, Graham (who IMO should be a starting prop)
Some are predicting an England win by 30+ points, I really can't see it."
