Manchester Evening News says that we are interested in Stefan Ratchford from Salford;

I read somewhere a couple of weeks ago that a couple of Union clubs are also interested
He is still only 22, and from what I have seen he is decent but not sure if he would be a good replacement for Briers |

From what little iv'e seen of him he has looked a decent player. Would we not all want someone more expeienced? Lets not forget the boots he would have to fill. Can he come in and do what Briers does for us without taking a while to settle in?
How would it work with Briers having another year and Ratchford's contract being up at the end of this season?
