Are there any pubs outside ground? Gotta have a few and soak up atmosphere.

Cricketer's had a pretty good atmosphere last year but got really packed and was near impossible to get served 1 and half before kick off...

Correct. From memory a lot of people abused the facilities of the offy accross the street & drank tinnies in the Cricketers gardens.

The best bet is bring your own cans and drink them outside the pubs. It was great last year

That's my plan. Couldn't get a pint in the Cricketers as they had about 4 people serving.

Pubs are fighting tooth and nail to survive in the current market due to discounted alcohol from supermarkets and off-licences.



People should support "their local" before its another part of society that is eroded away.

Totally agree. They (Cricketers) should have made hay whilst the sun shone but instead they had woeful staffing and missed out on a bonanza.

The Offy last year was completly torn apart. Dont think many people were paying either. Can remember a man coming out with a pack of bacon before swearing, throwing it to the floor and hsouting to his friends '' its still f**king raw ''

I just take my own beer and sup it on the train and save a few for before hand. Beat's paying £3 for a pint.
