| I never thought I'd see a better hooker in a Wire jersey than Duane Mann....
Think again Lefty.
Some of Monaghan's runs from acting half tonight, were unbelievable.
I've always said a player such just go straight forward (no point wasting energy), but some of Michael's running tonight went to another level. Just drifting diagonally, then a quick burst of pace, and release the pass. AWESOME
His work for the Bridge (iirc) try (early in the second half), was worth the admission money alone.
He's now, not even passed Duane Mann for Wire greatness, he's on the way to lapping him.

| Best hooker in Super League all day for me, followed by Roby. He'd walk into any SL team and a few NRL teams aswell.
One of the first players I look out for when the squads are announced. Terrific player.

Yed, don't think you can comment how good he was tonight, you don't do Friday games
Joking apart some of the skills he has shown tonight and in the past couple of seasons shows why the Aussies rated him so highly. He is a pleasure to watch.

| I know he's playing a different position but Monaghan reminds me a lot of Langer.
Remember when Langer was in the team, whenever he had the ball in his hands you knew something was going to happen which was good for us and bad for the opposition, we were going to gain field position out of whatever happened next, or if we were near their line a try was probably on if Langer was scuttling around with the ball in his hands. Monaghan is the same, there's a sense when he has the ball that something is on.
The Monaghan brothers are both top class players as is Hodgson. Our recent crop of Aussies (including him and King) have been all great signings.

| Makes you wonder why Cullen signed him as a Scrum Half when you see how good he is at hooker.
Then you sit back and realise how bad Cullen was as a coach....

This was explained by Cull on Boots n All earlier this week. Cull deserves some credit for getting MMonas into the club.

Even though you've got a point (i.e. how opinions can change over a short period of time), you still come accross as a ball bag here - did you rate MM last week? If you did expand, if you didn't shut up.
Moderators in this forum, outside of DC and Seb are worthless.
