Look Jeremy Smith is under contract for another season.



I myself have been very criticle of him this season but to be honest I feel he has improved, so hopefully we will see the best of him in 2010 with a bit of luck.



Plus who knows Jeremy Smith may find himself playing new role in 2010 at the Willows

Jeremy Smith receives a really bad press but he is a good footballer.

Like the rest of them he has faults but,certainly at Bradford today, he looked Ok,whereas Stefan was disappointing.

Different stages of their careers but give Smith a break !!

is there no good young players we could look at signing from the championship or anything? instead of looking overseas?

Yes there are, there are lots of players in the Championship who could and probably would make it in SL...we, however, dont have a coach who appears willing to take a chance on any of them any time soon so don't be holding yr breath!!

Id hope for a improvement in the players ability to deal with pressure, the way we play when a chance comes we need to take it or to stay in the arm wrestle for as long as we can so the opposition break 1st.

Too many times this season a bad decition by individuals in attack and defence or bottling the chance when it was on has been our downfall



Hopefully we'll get rid of a few and bring a few better focused proffesionals who when the pressure is on can do the job.



We are treading a thin line between victory and defeat now, but hopefully with an off season the younger players will continue to improve the senior pro's we have still on contract added together with new signins will give us a better chance of competing in them games and coming away with the spoils more.

I cant see where we will improve if we are only signing english players and letting are up and coming youngsters are being sold. i read a few weeks ago about brad drew what we going back to dads army for karl harrison sorted this club out from dead wood but now seem to bwe going back to are old ways. cant see use improving

I dont mind signing older players as long as they have [size=200Class[/size, the problem with us we always seem to sign them just after they have gone over the hill (most of the time in the old days they were over the hill, out the field, on the road, in their house, in their chair watching televison drinking tea)



The exception to the rule were Clinch and Dunnerman who were class AND made a huge difference and could deal with the pressure that broughtwe had them at the right time and we never reaily replaced them.
