| The morons who were in the stand are the same group who week in week out bring direpute on the club.
I keep as far away from them as possible at any game be it home or away.

| Quote Original Salford City Red="Original Salford City Red"As one of the away supporters down for the game yesterday I have to say that your resume of what went on was spot on.
Our second half performance was disgusting as was the antics of a small number of "supporters" who as far as I am concerned were an utter disgrace to the club.
Being there with my family, including a young child, was embarrassing to put it mildly and in future at any away match I will be as far away from the group that you have described as I can get.
The abuse given to the players was over the top by a very small minority of fans and was to my mind disgraceful as was the attention given to the coaching staff and the families of the players that you have mentioned although why a couple of players actually responded to the couple of morons near where we were sat, just behind the posts, shows a complete lack of judgement and professionalism.
The Bronco's fans were excellent all through the game especially in the first half when they were on the rack, some of our fans could take a lesson from these people.'" Excellent post and well done for being so eloquent about it as an away supporter to this game.

PR -- If you know this group & feel that they can be identified by photograph and susbsequently banned then please notify Tina at the club on Monday. Salford should have zero tolerance on this matter.

| Criticism of the playing squad for poor performances is justified, hurling abuse during a match however, is just moronic and achieves nothing other than further distracting the players from what they should be doing. Wasn't at the game yesterday, but it sounds like the second half was alarmingly like the Widnes game at home, which was a particularly low point and for that to happen twice in such quick succession, its not suprising frustrations are coming to the surface. It's not the loss, its the total capitulation in games we should have won. The players just haven't looked up for it at all. There seems to be some kind of a rot that has set in at this point in the season. I hope I'm wrong, but I get the distinct impression that the 2012 season has been written off by the club knowing that they got the move to Barton wrong, and the focus has turned to a relaunch for 2013. It seams that this attitude is filtering down to the playing squad too.
All I ask of them is to give it everything they have, and if we come up short then so be it. I can live with a loss as long as we go down fighting. We just haven't seen that attitude in recently matches. The whole squad need to take a long hard look at themselves, an decide whether or not the have the desire to give 100% for Salford week in week out, and understand, that it should be a privilege to pull on that shirt. If they are prepared to do that, they get my unconditional support, if not they need to look to play their rugby elsewhere. I also honestly feel that we HAVE to look to increase the number of first team players that have come through the system at Salford. Our academy lads show so much more passion for the club than alot of the first team do.

| Sounds pretty similar to our trip to London.
I fancied London to win yesterday but not at half time. Salford have been decent at times this year, surely it's not at the point where the fans walk away? You won't reach the 8 but surely there's some positives to take from this season?

Maybe not for good but trust me this club is pushing its most loyal fans to the brink, absolute shambles from top to bottom I hope there's some big changes in the off season and hopefully some new investment which brings new direction for the club but the chances of that I feel are slim and none. I certainly won't be wasting my time on this bunch for the rest of the season anyway I don't care who did what in London the fact is they are full time professionals and they should not be getting involved in confrontations with the fans, I hoped the like would never crop up again after the Catalan incident but yet again it appears the club has let itself down with both certain players and fans to blame.

| Quote lou kate="lou kate"I do believe that a previous comment, that the coach. 'has lost the dressing room',may well have some substance.
'"
Could you expand on this one, please ?
Does this just involve the players on the field at Twickenham,or the ones missing through injury ?
Does it include DJ who despite no longer being captain attempts to do everything for everybody and despite
losing half-back partners Smith, then Sneyd, and preparing to partner Sean Long then found himself with a previously untried scrum half in Stu Howarth ?
Does it include the skipper Stephen Wild ? There does seem to be a lack of direction and leadership when he is off the field ?
I was of the opinion the only guy to lose the dressing room was that fella at Huddersfield with the free-spending Ken Davy who has won nothing in 4 years, other than a gig at Saints for 2013 ? His players seem to have found a bit of form yesterday,so this forum will be fun as from Friday night.

| Quote SCR-SeaDiver="SCR-SeaDiver"Stu Howarth was the player involved in the matter on report. The Broncos forum have identified Clubb,no lightweight, going in on his knees.Stu was limping badly until the end of the game after that.
It was Clubb who also battered DJ long after he had kicked the ball from his hands in the first half.'"
And what has that got to do with Stu Howarth offering fans out at the end of the game? It's not the first time its happened with him, he gets a little mardy at times to say the least!!!

Nothing;because I was fortunate enough not to be anywhere near the altercation at the end and wasn't aware of who said what first and who replied.I just pointed out that Stu had not enjoyed a very comfortable afternoon.
While I don't condone the reported exchange of words - from either side - I think it safe to suggest that anyone who may perceive that they have been abused at the end of a shift may react inappropriately.
It may also suggest that Stu Howarth cares - which may explain why he has featured in all games this campaign - some of which have ended better than others.
Trying to persuade players to come to the club will not be easy anyway - reports as made by people at the game will make it more difficult.

| And the reaction from the fans also suggest they care doesn’t it? For a player to offer fans out for a fight is just beyond ridiculous. As I've pointed out it's not the first time he's seen his this season. The anger was aimed at the team and no one in particular (Or the stuff I heard was anyway) so why did he a take exception more some of the other players?

If mistakes have been made let's try and learn from them and move on.
Whatever happened,post-game,wasn't going to change what happened during the game.
I cannot answer for other people but it's best not to amplify the bad - only the good.
It would be timely if that 'good' started on Friday night.
I don't suppose anyone got round to asking Vinnie why he changed his yellow boots from the first half to blue in the second ? Nah.Thought not.
It shall have to remain one of life's mysteries - like that second half
