| I know there's another thread with regards the new tops but seeing as how it's totally gone off topic i thought i'd start a new one.
Got my new top today and i must say i'm massively disappointed with it. The white V looked like it was already fading and would be pink in about 3 washes time. The stitching on the badges and sponsors looks like they've been sewn on by someone using their feet. The badge is ludicrously big and it's far to long.
On paper it looks like one of the nicest shirts we've had for years but the actual product is, for lack of a better word, crap.
It's definately not worth the money i've shelled out for it

| Im not disappointed with the shirt, quite the opposite in fact, as are the rest of the family. The stitching is not that bad, just a few thread ends that just pull off, im not really that fussed about replica shirts, but think this one is good.

Make your own opinion of it, as they say, "one mans water is another mans wine"

| I suppose the size of the badge is relative to the size of the shirt, so I might not find it on my xxxl shirt

| It's nothing like I thought it would be, the cotton is just like a t-shirt cotton not like rugby shirts of old, the white v is iron on, its gonna come off after the first wash and the badge with devil on isnt white its biege and small, its on a hanger in the wardrobe and staying there...

I wonder if the thinner gauge cotton has been considered for fans wishing to wear them at matches in the summer. I can't imagine anyone wearing an old style heavy gauge cotton rugby jersey in the middle of July when it's 20-25C? If they did It would certainly keep the St Johns Ambulance people busy because I'd imagine fans would be passing out for fun!
If it's only going to ge hung in the wardrobe why don't you get in signed and framed?

I have one of the heavy cotton Kangaroos jerseys and they're surprisingly cool in the summer.
If these are like t-shirts then surely they're going to get ripped to shreds during matches?
