This perhaps answers the question why would a new coach come here if money was not available. He was probably told there was.

The sooner people take their rose tinted specs off the better. The club needs its leadership to wake up and smell the coffee.

So all is not as "rosy" as some people on here make out!! The coach has been lied to by the Chairman and the rest of his cronies, it makes you wonder how many years this has been going on for? And how many other coaches have been lied to in the past?

I read that and think that if he doesn't get some of the players he knows we are desperately short off then I would suggest he'll walk away.

I said yesterday that he might see Salford on a limited budget as a challange to showcase his skills but if the option to strengthen as he expected or was lead to belive then I can see him being coach who deserves better than that actually going and finding better than that.



Unless there are some glaring misquotes I'm seriously worried by that article.

Don't press the panic button just yet. We all know what 'journalists' are like, he may have said this or that and gave the impretion etc. Don't believe all you hear fro these rags. Don't you think MP would have looked at the info' available to him, stats etc about the state of SCR. I read into that article that he is angling for more cash to spend, no big shock.
