Oh and beer much cheaper in Spain than France.... IIRC €2.50 for a pint of Estrella. Easy to arrange a place on a coach transfer on match day as well. Think we paid €25 for a return last year.
Flew to Carcassonne the first time we played Catalans away. As DR mentioned, you can get the train to Perpignan. You might see some Pink Flamingos on the way there, although that could be due to the quality of the local Ricard.
