needs to be up north or i wont be going end of. wembley is a great stadium but the cost of going from (most rl fans) up north is a bit costly to say the least. st james park maybe??

Id love to see that but.. its usually around Round 4 in the calender.. Travelling there, playing a game, and back in about 5 days would be hell.

I would love to see this match staged as a major event and therefore taken to Anfield, Eastlands, Old Trafford or even Wembley.



We just have to face facts though fello enthusiasts.



The RFL will be making every effort to ensure the Millenium Stadium is promoted as much as possible to ensure a decent crowd to kick off SL in the right manner and therefore will not have the resources to give the World Club Championship full attention.



To fill a larger stadium which isnt in Wigans backyard is a tough task and with no national media coverage or promotion it would be a massive risk.



A full DW Stadium is therefore the only obvious and low risk option which will provide the setting for a superb night.



I dont mean to be small minded hear but realistic.

Wouldnt the WCC be a brilliant close to the Magic weekend! ..just saying like

they could make it the showpiece final game of weekend.



6 super league games, building up to the WCC.



it would mean that 1 team would miss out on the Magic Weekend, but I am sure that Catalans travelling army wouldnt mind missing out.

They already have to rearrange a fixture for the France game though. Just pick it outta a hat

Better to stick with Wigan v Saint Helens IMO

It would be great to see a big stadium filled with supporters for this fixture, but given that it is going to be just a couple of weeks after the Magic weekend it's a bit much to ask your average skint neutral supporter.



Hosting it at the DW qould ensure a huge turnout of Wiganers, and perhaps a good contingent from Saints, Wire and Widnes.

Why will the tragic weekend in Cardiff affect the WCC.
