These clubs that should be able to apply , you suggest they are told they are in SL and then spend 3 years in the Championship ' preparing ' , thats a good way of making the second tier even more worthless , having teams ' treading water '

if getting to SL is the only reason to compete in the championships, then all clubs are simply treading water.

No the idea was that you win the Championship to get into SL , How do you suggest they ' prepare ' ?

By building a squad of young talented players, and giving them experience, bedding in an SL quality coaching, sales and commercial staff, spending two or three years chasing sponsors, selling tickets, selling corporates, selling the clubs, building interest, building visibility, building player pathways and an academy,

So you mean being a Championship club basically , how will that prepare them for SL ? , you have stated many , many times the gap between part time and full time is huge , so basically they will need to change 90 % of their playing staff when they move up , unlikely they will retain any decent young players or a SL quality coaching staff either



If they are not competitive they will not build a fan base either

no im not, Im suggesting they be an SL club in the championships, they can go full-time if they wish, but they should be looking at filling their squad with young players, that would be the point, so they didnt need to change 90% of their playing staff when they move up, they need to pick up SL quality young players and coaching staff, people who will be happy to be involved with a club they KNOW will be in SL in 2/3 years.



They may not attract masses of fans, but it will help get the message out they exist, it will help to build visibility, they can use it as time to sell themselves in all aspects and to put in place the infrastructure to deal with that.

So basically be given an excemption on the Salary cap , marvelous , we finally get a competitive league and you want to f*** it up



It doesn't work , you know it doesn't work , you have stated many times you cannot grow/build a club outside SL to prepare for SL , you have stated that is why the likes of the Crusaders have to be IN SL , you are contradicting yourself again

I've have argued you can't grow an SL club in the championships, and i dont believe you can.



But i certainly think you can put the infrastructure in place and prepare very well for SL, and benefit from that preparation time whilst in the Championships.

What like ' Facilities ' and stuff ?



And then change your coach and 90 % of your playing staff
