Dave Woods on the other hand is brilliant. Loved it when he described young James Graham as the 'Kindergarten Prop'

And she dont half have a twinkle for Skully. I reckon she would do a change if she could get saddle on him.

I felt like writing to the BBC today, something I'd never even think of doing. The coverage was shocking, thank god there were two decent games to watch.



Fair play to Dave Woods though, he does a cracking job considering the clowns around him.

I liked the bit when Catalan kicked out of the full, well I assume they did that since Bradford got a pen on the half way line but we never saw the kick off.

Woods is a moron. He was a bit better today but his commentary and general input on the Super League Show is disgraceful. I've been a big advocate of French over Woods in the past, although Ray was equally shocking today. Both need replacing.

He seems much better when genuinely commentating live, rather than the "pretend live" commentating he does on the SLS highlights.

Dave Woods is superb. He knows the players, can pronounce their names, and gets a high level of emotion into his commentary, when necessary, that Ray the Frog cannot do unless St Helens are playing.



You are just ticked off by the sound of Dave's upper class acccent. Somebody has to go to Oxbridge, even if it could never have been you.

To be fair the french tv were doing the camera work/directing so it wasnt really bbc's fault

I do agree though, we must be able to do better than our current line up. Its embarrassing given its our only time on the national stage i.e. bbc, I’d prefer the Sky team……
