EDIT: Scratch that. All standing room tickets are gone. The only tickets available now are by a package deal of General Admission ticket and 2011 Membership, which are going for about $250 for both Raiders and Tigers fans.

its a shame carney couldnt behave responsibly in canberra otherwise imagine him with campese but then maybe you couldnt have kept duggan.

That's a very tasty prospect. Very tasty indeed. I doubt I'd really be able to pick a team to support wholeheartedly (Queenslander, but an old one with a soft spot for the Raider in their Days of Might).

I've got no doubts that re-signing Dugan was a key catalyst for this run. Josh Miller also gives credit to Tonguey's impassioned speech before the Manly game (the first game of our run). But like last year, public pressure after a horrid run undoubtedly played a part too.



If we kept Carney, we absolutely would've lost Campo. He was on the outer while we tried chasing Barrett. Storm offered Campo a contract, but he held out until Barrett negotiations fell through. We probably would've lost Dugan as well. Carney needed a reality check and he would never have gotten it staying with us, so with that in mind, we are far better off with Campo and Dugan than him by himself. I hold no ill-feelings towards Carney, I have no feelings of regret that he's the reigning Dally M Player of the Year. I wish him all the best and look forward to seeing him in a NSW and Australian jersey, where I can cheer for him once again.



I'm excited, but I don't want to put the cart before the horse. There's a lot of hype around us now, and it'll disappear immediately if we lose to the Tigers this weekend.

Will be a cracking crowd at Canberra, might just get the Raiders over the line. Hopefully they can get some signed up for next year though until they get some shelter at that ground, or get agreement to play every game on an afternoon the Canberra weather will always be a deterent for many.
