Yeah, I was watching the match with a football supporting mate. He was gobsmacked that we'd award a penalty for shouting at the referee. After looking at how much abuse football refs get, I'm proud that we know in our sport if you start hurling abuse at the ref you'll be punished.

I don't want it to get like football but it's getting to the stage were you can see the frustration coming out in the players as the refs are getting far to big for their boots as they are backed to the hilt by Cummings regardless of their performances.



Who was the last ref to publicly apologise that he’s made a major mistake or it was made clear he was dropped due to a bad performance? How can Silverwood get a massive game like that just one week after his poor performance in the Wire vs Wigan game?



If the official channels aren’t working and the refs still aren’t competent then I’m all for what Senior has done tonight.



If these things aren’t said in public then I doubt anything will ever change and we’ll always be subjected to the pick and mix style of refereeing we’ve seen over the past decade.



Also i'm sure that Senior will be one of the first to say how good the Storm were tonight but it doesn't mean he shouldn't be angry at Silverwood.

This really clarifies my thinking that if the injustice suffered by Castleford on Saturday night had happened to Leeds, the media wouldn't have stopped banging on about it...

Silverwood had a good game in that match

He wasn't good in the wire/wigan match at all.

Melbourne came here and played the same tactics they got away with in the NRL in 07ish, Silverwood couldn't decide from one tackle to the next as to when to call move.

For EXACTLY the same reason he was tonight, Melbourne were just a damnsight better at exploiting it than us and wigan were.

The people calling Leeds moaners are just bitter about Leeds' success in recent times.

Last time I checked a tackle was complete when a ball carrying arm hit the floor, not according to silverwood. He couldnt control the collision whatsoever
