The only time I heard SL mentioned is when they were talking to Brett Finch about where he is moving to, and Voss more or less said he should't play in SL.



Boots n All definitely had an NRL slot, McRae used to report when he was Rabbitohs coach.

On last weeks show, Matthew Johns referee creation 'Percy Le Blanc' during a referee training session sounded as if he was taking the 'Michael' out of the European Super League but it Super League part sounded like it was muted out.

The footy show hardly mentions the English Super Leage at all and never really did. They also never mention Rugby Union in any way at all.



This is because they don't want to give publicity to the associations where there is a massive player exodus from the NRL which is to the Super League and Rugby Union.



I am from Sydney and love the Super League so i was always interested in the English game and was always dissapointed that they never mention the English game. Having now been living in Leeds for a year watching Boots n all i can honestly say that you guys mention the NRL all the time and it comes up in discussion everywhere about how the NRL is played and who is doing well and who you guys should sign.



I guess it is a bit like Aussies taking an interest in your English Premier League and on the other side you guys not knowing anything about out Domestic Soccer League.

I dont know how you can say that just the other week they had a rugby union player in the studio, (albeit he was an ex-league player) amusingly they played some highlights of his rugby union games, mostly the ball being kick out to touch and people jumping on top of each other





THey've mentioned Super League when needed, when Trent Barrett was on there where a few question about his time in England, and also a few points made about Gareth Ellis and his Leeds club days, and i've not seen them all this year.......



Also, they has Evertons Tim Cahill on a few weeks ago, he mentioned that he's seen a few saints games in the UK and also hangs about with some of the antipodeans here.

Yeah 97 it started with the revamped WCC and Murdochs SL venture, the interest carried through with the Australian SL highlights taking a large proportion of Boots N All airtime.

I believe Robbie Fowler was on the other week, surely he must have mentioned super league or even Saints, anyone catch that show?

i watched that show but when saw him on switched channels as ive got no interest in what he has to say



in the past the footy show has had aussie soccer players on to promote their WC qualifiers and has had union players and journalists on as well.



why the show spends time talking about rival sports i dont know.



the show is better than last year so at least its more watch able



the chief was a waste of space.
