Possibly, but if he was any good Souths wouldnt have cut him loose for getting smacked in the face.

They said they hoped they would be in a position to make an announcement by the end of June, but emphasised they would not rush into a premature appointment or announcement.

However, I don't see something that is rather expected as a success either. With the players Taylor had at his disposal in 2007 it was an expectation that SS reach the playoffs and would have been deemed a failure had Souths not reach the top 8, which they did, by the skin of their teeth. However, the two following years they failed miserabley to reach the top 8 and Taylor was subsequently sacked with Souths using the reason of Taylor having a drink and getting beaten up as a lever to send him on his way.



Now if you think that's a good rep and previously succesful then that's your call, I just hope the level of Peter Hoods ambition is higher that your own..
