another cayless situation.does anybody believe we got value for money with cayless, it looks the same with sia.injurys cant be avoided but you dont see many saints lads of so much.

Yeah, right. He was regularly injured while playing in the NRL. He has had at least one knee reconstruction. How many NRL players come over here at 23? I wasn't in favour of his recruitment in the first place because there were just too many question marks over him. And now he's played at best 80 minutes for us but not only has cost us in bringing him over here but will cost us in terms of treatment and rehab and being one down on the playing roster for the whole of the season. And he's been signed for three years. It was a foolish piece of business to begin with and we have found out how foolish very quickly.

It's a shame for the big man wish him a speedy recovery. In terms of second rowers we have an abundance of them so i'm not really concerned in terms of our title aspirations etc..

He should rufuse his wages untill he's fit.. Sack him n all that as well.

If a player is unavailable for 6 months I think the contract can be terminated according to RFL rules. This would leave you with little or no free cap space in 2010 but would free up the space for 2011. For a player so early in a 3 yr contract moving him on tends not to go down well with teammates / agents / other players etc.
