your right Leeds are just finding some form with ball in hand, still need to work on the defence. Leeds are getting better no doubt but miles away from top form but warming up nice after a poor start.

Not me. I have a growing sense of anxiety about it but I always do have that feeling before a match against a side I don't want to win. I think we are poorer than last season and so have a lower chance of beating Leeds, whether at home or not, but I also know that as a unit Saints raise their game against Leeds. We do need Wello, Gidley and Meli all fit and raring to go though, along with whatever troops we have left, because nothing less will do for this match. There can be no giving away silly penalties or dropping the ball or letting in a try at the death. Leeds won't hesitate to take advantage, unlike some other opponents in recent weeks. Saints will also have to be at their defensive best midfield as give Rocky an inch and he will fly or allow the ball to get to Hall and a try will follow soon after. It's a big ask for us given the way we have been playing this season (unpredictable and a tad careless) and that we will not have a full first team out. But that doesn't mean we can't do it. We will probably know within the first fifteen minutes what chance we have.

I think Saints must start as favourites simply because you are at home and are higher up the league than us. We are starting to find some form in attack. But as already mentioned we have only beaten Hull who are not much of a team. Your lot always raise your game against us and I would say we do the same. If Senior plays we should push you hard and it will be close. If he doesn`t I feel you will edge it by 8.

Your boys will be extremly fired up for this, more so than leeds. They'll be willing to die to get the result. Motivation from previous 3 grand finals. I wouldn't be suprised if your players have been eating raw meat and head butting brick walls all week.



I wouldn't be at all suprised to see your players start the game like they're on speed, blitz leeds in the first 20 minutes, gameloses intensity and saints run out winners by about 20 points.



Certainly under daniel anderson that would have been most likely but I can't remember you ever doing that under potter, not against a good team.
