It was stated to be the 21st July on Radio 1 when Leeds failed to sign some Aussie centre last week.



Perhaps Bradford will loan us Sam Burgess, they have no use for him now do they.

Any news on Wheeler? he went off injured in the game didnt he?

1 - Course we could. Instead of this daft policy of having 16 senior pros and 23 children, we could have 20 senior pros and loan some of the kids out.



2 - Granted, but how many times in recent history have we been the best side throughout the season and then failed miserably due to injures. Huddersfield have got a great side this year and that semi wasn't going to be easy even with a full side.



3 - No, it's not in my nature to be optimistic.

I think alot of our front row issues are due to Carvell changing his mind last year, we had that nailed on, then he changed his mind the pillock and left our recruitment up in the air!

He changed his mind, yes.

But he wasn't signing for Saints.



That was from a very close "source" when we were in Australia last year.

So daft we're top of the league, in the cup semis and have as much chance of winning the lot as anyone.







We've failed miserably without injuries too.







We were nailed on to lose to Wire too

We got lucky with the injuries to Morley, Briers and Hicks.





I'm not suggesting we can't win a trophy this season, just that we probably won't now.

We'll loan you Crossley. Burgess plays better in SR/LF anyway.

From a different angle, weve always gone into the playoffs having played too many games and looking physically shot and mentally drained.



The likes of Longy, Cayless, Cunningham and Maurie will give the squad a huge boost come play off time.

True, but we started without 2 of our first choice front rowers, our best back and the Lance Todd Legend and lost players to injury during the game.



We still won, because the young lads in the team are good players. There's no reason at all why we can't get past Huddersfield with a similar team and in all likelihood we will be stronger with KC and Gidley back.



It's not all doom and gloom.

It's not all doom and gloom but I have to say the game has come full circle and once again we are in a period of RL history where you REALLY need good props and we are VERY short now.



We really could do with an extra body in that department.



Recent history suggest's that you need a string of good props. Remember Darren Britt carrying us until he got injured and then we went down hill!
