Excellent game, both teams should take a great amount of credit for an excellent end to end game. Thought Wire had the better opportunities but st's defended awesomely and Jamie Grahams tackle on King epitomised the st's defence all night.

thought we were unlucky to loose that...not taking anything away from Saints..some of their off-loads were fantastic and they took their chances very well....but we were unlucky to loose AGAIN!! hoping Saints luck runs out at Wembly or Old Trafford if we meet there!

Absolutely brilliant.

well done Saints. Some shocking decisions went against you at times but you pulled through and look very sharp indeed. Don't think Wire were unlucky at all they were given all the chances in the world to get back in the game, the penalty count was ridiculous and the Matty Ashurst one they scored a try from was for a none offence as far as I could see. Graham, Roby, Wellens and Foster all stood up and excelled themselves.

there was nothing lucky about Saints winning that, the better team won and it should have been by more if Alibert wasn't refereeing. Its a bit disingenuous to suggest otherwise.
