Kudos goes to the trial judge for getting everyone excited about the severity (or lack thereof) of the eventual sentences.

It seems to me that people got all excited when the judge mentioned that he was thinking of sending one of the key players of our major rivals down. Now he hasn't done that, people seem to think that he has got off.



Had the judge not have mentioned it, its likely no-one would have paid much interest in it today.

To be perfectly honest based on the facts of this case I think the decision is somewhat harsh. Pushing somebody over with a bat in their hand warrants community service ? I suspect he has only been given this due to his previous offences. Anyhow, hopefully he's learnt his lesson now. Whenever he speaks on the tv, he just doesn't come across as this kind of chap.

I think being party to the breaking into someone's residence uninvited was the most serious aspect of the case, IMO.

I agree but am under the impression there was no charge brought for this part of the case ? If there has been then Pryce I would say has been very lucky to get away without going to prison. If not, then as I say, I think it is quite harsh.

How odd that a door would just fall of it's hinges like that? No wonder CeeBeeBees laid Bob off the other week.

From what I'm reading, the charge of using violence to gain entry was dropped due to lack of evidence so therefore Pryce and Reardon have only been charged on the assault alone.



My opinion is the same, based purely on the assault and the circumstances, I think he has been given a harsh sentence. Can't see Saints taking further action either, too important a player for us.

Now that Leon has got his comeuppance I wonder if they will get round to sentenceing Jamie Peacock for being criminally stupid.

I think those charges were dropped in return for plaeading guilty to the other charge
