Seems to have finally stopped. Now it'll all freeze overnight.



It was all I could do to go out for the paper today. I'm lucky I did a 'big shop' yesterday.

There's another disadvantage to working from home - when your head office get to abandon ship at 3.30pm this afternoon because the snow has moved down to Birmingham, they divert the fsking phones to you without telling you, I thought it had suddenly got really busy and it was only when I tried to transfer a call back to B'ham that I got their answerphone mesage to say they'd all fsk'd off home, bas'tads

More snow clouds over East Leeds now, sky starting to go that orangey tinge it does at night with the snow clouds above. Expect more shortly!

Left the offices today in Shorpe at 10.20, took me an hour to get to Gainsborough, then the 2 roads i could take were both shut. Ended up going back to Shorpe getting on M180 then M18 then A1 only to get caught in the traffic jam caused by a jackknifed lorry at the Worksop turn off, then road into my village nearby was closed due to an accident so did the last 4 miles or so through the small back roads and villages in 1st gear doing about 5 mph. My usual 50 min journey took over 5 hours

Is there reason to believe the Leeds game on Saturday may be in doubt with the surrounding areas as there are at the minute?

I would say that at this moment in time, however its meant to clear by thursday, and hopefully they will clear it all to welcome back the heros of Old Trafford.

Leeds at a standstill today. Took me an hour to get from Netto Seacroft to Asda Killingbeck. Reports say other main corridoors into Leeds are the same. So i turned round and have just arrived in my lovely warm house
