Last week Eddie told us on Boots'n'all during the programme that Radfords ban had been 'lifted' on appeal. I am sure we will hear something similar tonight. Hope he gets the ban lifted as it would give me great entertainment looking on the pies forum tonight.  
We (our household) have always said that the people on the committee should not sit on it if they have a 'vested interest' if you know what I mean in home town players etc. It causes too much friction among fans and we have enough of that already. |

I agree that Tomkins has been very fortunate but the decision on Buderus is fair enough. Tansey got sent off and a 2 game ban for a similar spear a few weeks ago. Radford SOS is fair enough when you consider the individuals disciplinary record plus the fact that it cost his club 4th place and ultimately their chances.
I agree that wigan do seem to have the rub of the green though recently in this regard.

The appeal panel is always made up of three completely different people to the original disciplinary panel. They have a published rota and therefore the panels are decided in advance. Buderus could well find that an ex Leeds player with the surname Butt could be on todays appeals panel... it works both ways sometimes!
