No he wasn't on trial for that. He pleaded guilty to the charge he was in court for and then his previous convictions should have been used when considering sentence. That's why it's relevant. |

To be honest, given that he's supposed to do that kind of thing as part of his job, I'd prefer him to be doing something a bit more menial, litter picking, graffitti cleaning, something like that. Not that it's up to me like. |
