I'd go for Harris. Had everything and a fantastic kicker

Can't believe you put Schofield in there in that company as a stand off.



As a Stand off he was nothing close to the others. Infact I thought Creaser was a better stand off.

Schofield carried Leeds for a number of years at stand off after Holmes & Lyons and did a great job once he'd lost the pace he had at centre

Have seen them all and I'd go with Harris, had everything but genuine pace.

Not around for the first two .... And maybe a tint of nostalgia.....but Hol m e s easily for me.

Shoebottom.



Had everything and more and also played in a great team who consistently played the sort of rugby Leeds fans traditionally like to see.



I think we'd need a bigger capacity if that team could be transported forward forty years.

At stand off, Shoebottom, but best all round player from that list has to be Holmes.

Its got to be Shoey .

If there was a thread like which player of the past would you put into the team of this era ?

had it all, no one else near him, power skill just sorry it was cut short. Hardisty and Mags come second but we didn't see the best of Hardisty

For me it has to be John Holmes. Shoey was a great physical player with 120% enthusiasm but Holmes had all the skills and was a real head up player that made other team mates look so good.



Of you were to make it the last 50 years I would go with Lewis Jones

It's a tough question, considering different skills, eras etc. but my father, who saw them all up to Harris, rated Harris as the best Leeds back since Lewis Jones.

Never saw Shoey or Hardisty. Of the ones I saw I'd say Holmes.
