With it being on TV some Wakefield fans and some Cas fans will choose to sit at home. Why fork out when you've paid the licence fee for it?



And no, I don't think it's viable paying out for a TV ad. I don't know how Wakey have fared in terms of paying fans and costs paying out for the TV ads and whether it's made a profit or not.



However, expenses would be better by marketing in each respective town.

Don't really care about the crowd to be honest.



What matters to me the most is seeing Castleford progress through to the next round.

FWIW I think the adverts are all about raising the clubs profile and IMO they have worked. I do detect a slight undertone of jealousy though!

Not jealous at all. Credit to Wakefield for trying something new. TV adverts cost money, though; I don't know if it's been successful in getting the walk-up, profile or not. Attendances have risen slightly but judging by from the comments I saw earlier in the season, some of that could be attributed to new owners rather than a TV ad.



City/town, you got the gist, no difference except for a cathedral and population size.

Economic prosperity, employment ratio's, social class, good old fashioned good looks and intelligence- to add to your list!

Anyone else jumping around their living room when you got drawn out against us? Obviously the match isn't as big as the million pound 1 but with 2 clubs worrying about the franchise application a challenge cup quarter final spot is huge. You will then be one game away from the Semi Final.



9000 + at Belle vue both sets of fans should flock down in their numbers this is a huge game. Lets all show the Nation why both clubs belong in Super League and why the league needs exciting derby games ..... Cannot wait. Put the hate aside and lets provide a advert for both clubs on national TV.
