I suffered a similar injury (from what I have seen) when I was 19. 6 weeks in plaster but back playing at amateur level in 12 weeks.

Yes. We were. As of course people saw from the standing ovation he got when he was finally stretchered off. Don't tar us all with the brush of a few muppets of the kind you see at every ground, including yours.
