I am okay losing to a team that play better rugby than your own team but its always the same with Whitehaven, they just stick to you like a leech and suck the life out of you, I honestly hate their guts, and thats not something I say lightly.

Never, it was like it was meant to be cos its halifax playing Whitehaven, we never seem to play well against them. We were poor today for 65 minutes.



One day we will smash them and that day cannot come soon enough.

Thursday is time for the players to stand up and be counted, especially our big names who are not playing well like Penky and Blacky.

Plus Saaed needs to improve his defence, he cannot just do the hard hitting runs he also has to tackle, that missed tackle by him and Maloney on half time was terrible the guy just ran through both of them right under the sticks.

I think the problem is we are just a better team.



But to be honest out of all the GF contenders you lot are the team we'd like to avoid the most.

Haley's chip over and chase try had a bit of luck about it, we should have reacted to the kick sooner.







We beat them at the Rec because we wanted it at the time, the players didn't look like that until the game was lost today. Plus we will beat Haven and other teams when we learn to deal with teams who play simple, yet effective Rugby League.

Wow im going to agree with Haighy about the "flukey" kick off. If the players whos heads the ball went over had done their job then Haven wouldnt have had the ball back. They reacted far too late and we got what we deserved.



Dosnt matter that its Haven yesterday it could have been any team probably apart from Donny and they would have beat us. We are just far too soft.

Also can you say they are not better than us when they beat us most times they play us? That would suggest they are.

I know that a lot of what you are saying is right but I would ask would you want to watch that lot every week?

No.



Like you say we have to learn how to keep it simple at times when the game needs winning, then when its won do the flash stuff.

But thats the problem we all like the team playing the way it has been these last two seasons, i do not want to watch a Whitehaven style team tbh.

We just need to defend and keep it tight until we get the upper hand on the opposition, thats something where a good stand off comes in, they get you behind the opposition, teams like Whitehaven like to get in your faces, so put the ball behind them, then they are playing in their half not ours.

Thats the missing link this season - a stand off said it hundreds of times.

Yes, because unlike Fax at this moment in time, they look like a unit, play with nounce and know how to build pressure.
