Just back from barrow, what a great advert for the championship that game was, thought fax were simply outstanding today especially in defence. In my opinion frank's sending off was ridiculous, the man hasnt got a bad bone in him and for the ref to basically say he tryed to purposely harm a fellow player is total crap, as for the ref himself what a woeful day he had, so inconstient and generally poor. Thought the fans were in great voice also really what the team needed being a man down and now hopefully this will give the lads a great boost heading to blackpool.. Well Done Fax!

Unbelivable performance from the boys. Not the biggest away following but they got right behind the team. Well done everybody, a great night.

just what we needed before the big one next week

At times it was easy to forget that Fax were playing a man short although I think that was assisted by what I saw to be a pretty dreadful Barrow performance, Thackeray and Harrison apart.



Don't think Fax were at their best in attack, particularly on the occasions when starting a set of six within 30m of the Barrow line and not coming away with anything. That said, the defence was mean and as I posted while at the game I think Watene's red card was a little harsh and wouldn't have caused a blink had it happened at 99% of other grounds.



Will expect Fax to be firing on all cyclinders next week to make for an absolutely cracking final.

What a top effort from the lads especially after big Frank got stupidly sent off which was totally out of charachter for him to push Broadbent into the concrete barriers (yer stuck in a time warp in Barrow its like Thrum Hall used to have).

We tackled like demons and really bust a gut, Jim Gannon put in a lung busting effort in as they all did even Blacky tcakled his heart out!

Great support outshouted the Barrow fans and urged the lads on a real backs to the wall effort.
