Yes you're right 2 teams out of 1 group ( Championship ) would play 3 SL clubs at home, and 2 teams out of group 2 ( SL ) would play just 1 Championship club away from home

And are the finances of current SL being reviewed? There will be an outcry if such a measure is introduced given the abject failure of previous reviews. Without bringing more calamity to the proceedings you can't opinionate on Championship clubs finances when some current members of SL are financially retarded.

I'm just saying the minimum standards haven't been set yet so you can't know whether you'll need a financial review by KPMG or somebody like them. It's still not just what happens on the field.

I take your point but what I'm saying is that such measures MUST be consistent. Forgive my being personal but given the complete sham of a system that we've just left behind (which was apparently ratified by KPMG) you can't expect me to share your apparent faith in the RFL's "safeguarding" measures.

I'd agree with you that it appears that it's not been done well.



There is, however, a balance between monitoring the clubs and the cost of doing so.
