mate, the warrington guardian does a report if someone so much as drops a crisp bag in the street. If there was trouble it would have been reported. I went into town after the match and there was a few fev fans knocking abiout for an hour or two. But they were definatly NOT causing bother. Like i said i was in the red lion that was heaving with both sets of fans before the game and the atmosphere was good. I wouldnt put it past a warrington copper to make up a bull excuse cause he doesnt really know or care to give you a valid reason. But i can honestly say that nothing happened in warrington that april day.



Let me just make clear also im not defending featherstone for what happened sunday as i wasnt there. Im just offering an impartial view of fev fans visiting my town in april this year.

A copper at HJ on sunday also told me that the CC trouble with the Fev fans was in the town centre prior to & after the match. Just 'cos you had half a shandy in ONE pub 100mts from the ground doesn't make you the expert lad, sorry if that sounds too critical.

Why ? It has no relevance. The game was not the issue.

That's fine. As i was in the town that day and you wasnt i know what happened. I think you are all going to believe something else some copper supposedly said anyway. If there was trouble in the town centre it will be on the warrington guardians archives. Just type "featherstone" into the search and lo and behold nothing mentioned about any trouble in warrington between featherstone and warrington fan's. Maybe cause after i had my half i shandy i went into town following the match and it never kicked off. But of course my word is nothing compared to some copper on a pitch at the HJ who is trying to do his job whilst everyone shouts about police presence at him.

Trust me if I was to say search Warrington Guardian archive and you'd be lucky to find anything on any kind of trouble. Saturday night brawls dont even get a mention. There was some "trouble" in Warrington on the day of the CC. It was a day when Fev supporters were in town. Cant say more than that as I didnt see exactly who was causing problem in the pub (could be Fev could be Warrington) BUT you can 100% guarantee it was alcohol fuelled!

Well i can say i honestly never saw it. If it was confined in one pub then maybe i missed it but im sure it wasnt the full on rioting like that guy was trying to make out.

Well as a neutral [Leyther we were stood with the Fev fans on Sunday and got on fine with them, young and old, also we went to Fev for the Sky tv game and went in the Last Orders pub across from Post Office Road and got on fine with fans in there, when we where in the Last Orders a gang of young ones were singing Fev songs and having a good time in the other room they saw us with Leigh shirts on but never gave us any abuse, just my experiences.



Hope the Fax lad makes a full recovery, it is sad to hear things like that happen.

You missed the point entirely. MA has issues of when the season had finished, thus when SB could play against the Eagles.
