Just to let you know that Blacky's ankle has been xrayed at the hospital and there are no broken bones - just bad bruising.

Sheffield deserved the win they were the better team today.

Fax were their own worst enemies consistently turning the ball over on the first tackle most notably when we had just scored to level at 16 all and

when sheffield had been marched back another 10 metres for backchatting a penalty, and we might have got a bonus point had Patterson not chosen to kick forward again on the first tackle late on and turn possesion over again!

We've all enjoyed the exciting open rugby the team has played this season but sometimes you have to mix it up and play some basic settling sets and build pressure.

Hopefully the team will put together another long sequence of wins and learn a few things from today

Well thank goodness for that. Best to rest him against donny though and then he can have a nice rest before the leigh cup game.

Garbage today folks. It looked as though the squad had just met for the first time this morning - hopefully it's just a bad day at the office but we've now lost two on the trot. Confidence won't be so high going to Doncaster on Thursday night. We missed Gleeson terribly, we just had no go forward whatsoever. Hopefully, the defeat will have hurt the players - that's the best aid to getting back to winning.



For those who put words in the mouths of Halifax fans - i didn't read any people on here saying we'd go undefeated. Plenty said we were miles ahead of the other teams - Matt Calland included. I still believe that.

Thank God though, both Black and Penky were garbage today but need them all the same.

Apparently some of the players felt there was some boo's from the cround at the end, I personally didn't hear anythging.

I hope so. Thye're both good players and since black has been injured it's good to give young anthony a run out just in case we need a cover.



I was a little disappointed in hemingway today although the whole team were pretty poor and that may have added too it.

There was some booing aimed at the referee at the end. Didn't hear any towards the players though.

I never boo but they were a few boos and I suppose you're going to have to accept that we have a few glory fans atm which is expected.

Not that I heard ,not after one loss surely a loss was bound to come. Might as well come sooner rather than later.
