I once won the Golden Gamble and I'd already promised the young un that I'd share if I won (as you do) and it was the biggest we'd had for a while, about £230.



£115 down I went to the Weavers and Alan Hadcroft was appealing on behalf of a kiddy who was ill. There goes the other £115.



So instead of £10 spent and £230 back, it ended up costing me a tenner to give it all away

I had always been worried that the new stand would do nothing except add further complications to HTAFC. The club couldnt get the absolute basics right nevermind have big, impressive new facilities available for use. However, the current owners have much more nouse about them and Pete Stajic has had a good first year in charge of sales and marketing.



'Fax on the other hand are much more geared up and ready for the East Stand. I am certain the FC Halifax Town are envious of the rugby clubs commercial and community activites which have been built up over years rather than months. The Shaymen could learn a lot from HRLFC on this regard.



I suppose both clubs will have concerns about what the future plans are of the council with the stadium. What CMBC must do though is consult both clubs to ensure the new stand doesnt become a heavy weight around the neck. It needs to be something which benefits the two teams. Hopefully common sense will be used.

Can I borrow some?

Worryingly, I contacted the club on the info@..... address for a form and also to ask if some of the players would contact my son's school re a visit from Frank the Tank without reply. Not too much to ask for a basic reply is it?

I do know they are short handed at the moment as Jenna is off on maternity leave , Mike is on holiday which only leaves Sarah.Why don`t you give them a ring in case the e-mail has gone to either of these?

Just seen on the Leigh board they have formed a new "Corporate Club"it is to encourage mainly company `s or business men to put in at least £25 per month .For that you become a member and you get certain benifits like attending special events and regular meetings with board members to review how money will be spent etc. Wonder how this will work out and if there will be many takers some have promised more than £25 and from what I can gather the more you put in the more benifits you recieve. I f it is succesful over there it might go all right here.

I may be wrong, but I think Malcolm is also on Holiday.

As far as I am aware Richard deals with CashFax etc and got back to me really quickly so maybe he is away. Which e-mail did you send it to?

I would just like to thank Eadie and Faxan for thier help recently, as they have recruited cashfax and gold club members from family, friends and workmates for the club.



While our lottery is doing well (better than quite a few super league clubs) we still need more members. I'm convinced that supporters hold the key to increasing membership and would welcome suggestions on how we can do this. Perhaps we could organise a think tank in the south stand bar one evening for an hour where everyone could give suggestions.



Perhaps we could set a target for this message board, maybe 100 members.
