Thread or not, VM or not, this is a schoolboy error of the lowest form and raises some serious issues at our club that need addressing.

Where do i come into this? my original email post was a joke, they should make Stanley Gene do community service or something to represent Fax, it wont harm him as he'll still be around in another 100 years.

Why would Smithy and Watto know this. Do you think they sit there after every Cup match to see if the Opposition have any players in there team that should not be playing. |

On the bright side, I found out a full two minutes before I was getting on the M62, so instead got on the M6 and had an enjoyable afternoon at the Crusaders! |

Well it is a right mess for your club but I cannot understand the criticism of the lad who started this thread.
Never shoot the messenger just because he is telling the truth.
Ostick is clearly at fault for not pointing out to his coach when he was selected for the Swinton game that he had already played for Rochdale in a previous round.
You would not have won the Challenge Cup anyways.

The "Challenge Cup" is irrelevant in all this. The club's reputation is in tatters. The club has just lost a shed load of revenue - not to mention the possibility of having to face a hefty fine. Add to this the long term damage done with regards to attracting a main sponsor for next year. And finally they've let down two thousand mainstay fans - many of whom may just turn their back on the club for good. |
