watched the game live and then again yesterday... What a great game of Rugby League that was... Strength, power, resilience, bravery, brilliance and howling mistakes (on both sides)... All the claims on Facebook that we were poor, gave the game away, screaming abusive language at individual players... Is the height of arrogance... we watch a gladiatorial, dualistic sport where there is always a winner and always a loser. If that galls you, you are probably watching the wrong sport!
That game was played at breakneck speed, and to a really high standard, and both teams deserve immense credit. Win or lose games like that are great entertainment!
On balance I thought we were the better team on the night and the stats seem to support that.A couple of strange decisions and individual errors and the game went the other way but there isn’t a player whose ever played that hasn’t dropped a ball cold or thrown a silly pass so no blame attached to anyone.
